Where is God? Matthew 1:21-23

Where is God?

He’s everywhere, of course. Omnipresent, Omniscient, Omnipotent. All present, all knowing, all powerful.

God is incredibly and unbelievably amazing and glorious,… and yet he’s here, too. With us.

Unlike other religions, our all powerful God isn’t “up there….” just looking down on us. Our amazing and glorious God desires to have a close relationship with us, and so he sent Jesus Christ to earth to be “God with us.”

She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet:

“Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son,
and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us).

Matthew 1:21-23

Think of it! God almighty, Creator of the universe, who spoke everything into existences, desires to know His creation intimately. So he sent Jesus to be our redemption. And then He sent the Holy Spirit to dwell in us. So he could BE with us. WITH us.

Don’t ever let the world or Satan tell you that God is impersonal, or that He’s far away. Don’t let the world convince you that God doesn’t care about what’s going on down here. He does. So much that He made a way to be with us and us with Him.

You are God’s creation and He desires to know you.
