Romans 8:26 – When You Are Weak

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.

~Romans 8:26

I absolutely love that the Spirit helps us in our weakness! We are so full of weakness. Sometimes, we don’t even realize our weakness until we start counting up the sins right? Then, we start to wonder why we keep doing the things we do that we know are wrong. Paul talks about this in chapter 7 of Romans.

Have ever had something on your heart so strong but have no idea how to communicate your grief, your sorrow, your anticipation, your repentance,  or whatever to God? This can happen at different points in life. Like, you have no words to express what you’re feeling. It’s at these times, that you shouldn’t hang up the prayer line with God, even when you want to, but rather, let the Holy Spirit communicate for you. Remember, God knows what you need before you even ask.
