Slow and Mighty.

You don’t really think of “slow” when you think of Mighty. It’s not usually considered a great show of strength, nor is it a title worthy to be desired. Yet Proverbs 16:23 tells us that being slow to anger is just that.

Whoever is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city. Proverbs 16:32

It seems like a conflicting idea, but we know that there is great truth here. Once again, we find that God’s ways are better than our own!
